The Isle of Wights' best Glamping Experience!
Welcome to the only American School Bus to ever be on the Isle of Wight! We are very pleased to partner with the wonderful Retro Staycations four-acre campsite overlooking the stunning downs. (See how Texas arrived on the Island!)
This fabulous site forms part of Hazelgrove Farm, a peaceful working free-range farm near the fab town of Ryde.
Retro Staycations is such a unique place - we LOVE it! The chilled site is brilliantly run by the lovely Sarah and the team there. The Family Field is perfect for the kids to be free to play and the layout of the site means parents can easily keep an eye on them.
You’ll find a great farm shop a minute walk away selling their own duck and chicken eggs, fresh vegetables grown both on the farm and from the local area, and milk, cream and butter from the nearby Briddlesford Farm. The Farm also sells free range pork, lamb and grass fed beef.
On site; Depending on seasons and times, you can see and make friends with ducks, sheep, lambs, pigs, people, cows and chickens.
The spacious site has a pop-up Fab-Food-From-The-Farm-Truck, and also holds the occasional pop-up mini-festival and exclusive retro and music events and entertainment throughout the year with its own amazing stage made from an original American Airstream from California, a BBQ kitchen and a licensed Bar - perfect to spend lazy Summer evenings and enjoy quality time with family and mates in a laid-back environment.

...and Somersets' best Glamping Experience is 'Long Beach' the Converted American School Bus!
We are very fussy where our Buses live, and so we are extremely pleased our 'Long Beach' is at the absolutely beautiful Petruth Paddocks campsite near some really lovely Beaches on the Somerset coast.
Petruth Paddocks offers the best fun Free-Range Camping. The vibe is as chilled as a rather good Prosecco thanks to the cucumber-cool Jules and the team there. There's a Family Field with an activity area where kids are free to clamber on old cable reels, sleepers, tractor tyres and an old Land Rover. Parents can keep an eye on toddlers from nearby picnic benches.
You’ll find a great food shack serving delicious Paninis, Loaded Chips, Baked Potatoes, and brekky rolls in the morning and get your caffeine hit with proper coffee, or great tea, iced milkshakes and hot choccy! Veggy/dairy free available too!
‘Kev the Ice-Man’ has the most delicious flavours of Marshfield’s Ice Cream, and the most wonderful Stone-Baked Pizzas are on Friday evenings from June - end August with Vegan & dairy-free options available.
A small shop in Reception sells the essentials - drinks, snacks, toiletries and a few other bits and bobs!
