IS THE SECRET ORCHARD NEAR THE GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL SITE?

The Secret Orchard is located on a private beautiful seven acre apple orchard just a few minutes away from the festival site Bronze Gate.

Yes. Well that was easy!

Nope, sorry. You can charge your electric toothbrush though.

CAN A FRIEND WHO'S NOT GOING TO GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL VISIT ME DURING MY STAY?

Nah.

 

CAN A FRIEND WHO'S NOT STAYING WITH ME PARK AT THE SECRET ORCHARD?

Stop it.

 

I'M COMING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT, HOW DO I GET TO THE SECRET ORCHARD?

The best railway station to reach us from is Castle Cary. Buses run from there and also from Bristol, Bath, and Wells to the festival. Buses from Wells leave every 10 minutes and the trip takes about 15 minutes. Look also for these bus lines with stops near Glastonbury Festival: 373, 374, 375, 669. Check all this beforehand though.

 

HOW DO I GET TO/FROM THE FESTIVAL EACH DAY / NIGHT?

We have a FREE VIP shuttle to and from the festival Bronze Gate running 24/7! You can walk, however this is not advised as the local roads can be poorly lit, have no pavements, and there may be wild bears and hungry monsters roaming the area...

 

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

No, except Penguins, called Dave. We're strict on this.

 

WHAT IS THE SECRET ORCHARD ALCOHOL POLICY?

Just enjoy, don’t go mad, look out for yourself and each other - whether they are your tribe or not. Be that mate. Be lovely.

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES THE AMERICAN SCHOOL BUS SLEEP?

Max 6 People;

• 1 x King Bed

• 2 x Full Size Single Bunks (proper adult single bed size)

• 1 x Double Sofabed

 

WHAT BEDDING DO I NEED TO BRING?

Nothing. All bedding and fluffy luxury towels are included, although you may wish to bring your Teddy Bear. Aww…

 

WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?

Our 24-hour security and campsite team will ensure your festival stay is safe and comfortable. Only guests are permitted access to the site, however all valuables are left at the owners risk.

 

HOW WARM WILL WE BE?

Well first of all - you'll obviously be cool as a cool thing staying in an American School Bus! Hey - it’s the UK. It’s June. Who knows? The American School Bus has loads of windows and doors to open to keep cool, and heating if its a bit nippy-noo-nah at night so all bases should be covered there. 

 

WILL I HAVE POWER?

If you are Trump, let's hope not.

For your gadgets - Yes.

To be Queen of the Festival - why not, though that’s down to you.

 

ARE THERE COMMUNAL AREAS AT THE SECRET ORCHARD?

We provide a huge covered communal chill area where you can sit back and relax with your tribe and other guests, laugh, blend, chat, grab some nosebag to eat, and Prinks from the Bar before heading off to the festival.

 

ARE THERE HOT SHOWERS AND PROPER FLUSHING TOILETS? 

Yup! We have a lovely team looking after our toilets and showers and regularly service them to ensure the highest standards are maintained.  You will have access to hairdryers and straighteners, and our Pamper Parlour and  Glitter Station will help get you ready for your day/night festival adventures. We even have an all-important Glasto Festival shop, just in case you  forgot anything!

IS THERE FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE?

Relax back - we've got this! We have a marvellous on site catering team, producing a great selection of locally produced food serving breakfast through to late night snacks specialising in locally produced good stuff. We have a licensed bar serving your pre and post festival drinks, including a cocktail bar which also serves local ales, lager & cider including cider produced from those trees surrounding your American School Bus at The Secret Orchard.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE FESTIVAL TICKETS WITH THE AMERICAN SCHOOL BUS?

Nope. We tried begging, bribery, kidnapping and tickle-torture, and crying uncontrollably. You will need to secure your festival tickets through official Glastonbury channels - not Dave behind the Red Lion or Betty6188562 on Facebook though. Avoid them.

 

HOW DO I BOOK THE AMERICAN SCHOOL BUS FOR GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL?

Get up, get dressed (or not), log on to the Internet Webby place and go to this little corner of fun right here armed with a credit or debit card.

 

IS THERE A DAMAGE DEPOSIT?

We will place a holding charge as a damage deposit. Be lovely like us, and there’ll be no dramas. Get off your face, break stuff - you will be charged in full for the cost of repairs.

 

WHAT ARE AT THE SECRET ORCHARD OPENING TIMES?

Rock up from noon on Tuesday 24th June and we’ll sling you out kicking and screaming at noon on Monday 30th June.

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING TO THE FESTIVAL?

 

• TICKETS, obvs…

• Great Mates, Lovers, Significant others

• A reusable Water Bottle

• Flip-Flops / Wellies / Sturdy boots

• A warm Top or similar (it may get cold at night)

• Sunscreen

• Toothbrush / Fave Smellies / Slap-on

• Smiles, Tolerance, Love, Acceptance, Understanding

• Waterproof Jacket / Poncho / Full Scuba Wetsuit

• Enough changes of Clothes in case you get Moist / Wet / spill Mayo

• Medical info (if you have any allergies or medical conditions)

• Medication if required

• Charger plug / USB wire thingys

• Torch (Remember your phone battery limitations)

• Original ID documents (not photocopies) for buying Alcohol at the Festival unless you are clearly over 25

• Cash/Cards/Magic Beans

• Funky Hat

• Tip; Mark your valuables with house name and postcode for a chance it can be returned to you. Maybe also tattoo this info on your own forehead in case you get lost.

• One of those little yappy Handbag-Dogs

• Negative Vibes

• Sky Lanterns / Fireworks

• Drugs, naughty substances or Nitrous oxide (laughing gas)

• Anything illegal or dangerous (also refer to ‘Your Ex’ above)

HOW MUCH IS AMERICAN SCHOOL BUS GLAMPING AT GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL 2025?

We have a fixed cost for Glasto. It's £5995 - You can arrive anytime from the Tuesday before the Festival opening and stay anytime up to and including the Monday after the Festival closes. Thats 6 People, 6 nights. This works out at just £167 per person per night!​
